Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the rules for using the Wakeup Makeup website (the "Service") and the rules for signing up for and taking part in makeup workshops organised by Aleksandra Łęcka (the "Organiser").

1. Definitions

• Organiser – the Organiser of the workshops and the seller is Aleksandra Łęcka (ul. Cymbalistów 7P/2, 02-881 Warsaw, Poland), operating under Poland's unregistered business activity regime pursuant to Art. 5 of the Entrepreneurs' Law of 6 March 2018, trading under the Wakeup Makeup brand.
• Service – the website available at wakeupmakeup.pl.
• Participant – a person signing up for a Workshop via the Planerto system.
• Workshop – an in-person makeup and skincare session organised by the Organiser, held on a set date.
• Planerto – an external online platform through which Workshop sign-ups and payments take place.

2. Electronic services

The following services are provided electronically through the Service:

• providing information about Workshops, the Organiser, and how to sign up,
• a contact form allowing messages to be sent to the Organiser,
• redirecting to the Planerto system to sign up and pay for a Workshop.

A device with internet access and a web browser is sufficient to use the Service. Using the contact form and the Planerto system is free of charge – only participation in a Workshop is paid.

3. Signing up for a workshop

1. Sign-up for a Workshop takes place exclusively through the Planerto system, accessible from the "Workshops" section of the Service.
2. Participation in a Workshop requires signing up and paying the fee in the manner and by the deadline specified in Planerto.
3. The number of spots at a Workshop is limited – order of sign-up and payment determines availability.
4. After signing up, the Participant receives a confirmation in line with Planerto's own rules.

4. Prices and payment

Current Workshop prices are shown in Planerto at the time of sign-up. Payments are handled by Planerto – the Organiser does not store the Participant's payment card details.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling, calling off a workshop

• Cancellation by the Participant – the rules and deadlines for cancelling participation and any refund are set out in [fill in: e.g. "cancellation is possible up to X days before the Workshop with a full refund; after that date no refund is available" – adjust to your own policy].
• Rescheduling or cancellation by the Organiser – in case of too few sign-ups, illness of the instructor, or other unforeseen events, the Organiser reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a Workshop, and will promptly inform signed-up Participants. In such a case, the Participant is entitled to a refund of the amount paid or to sign up for another date, at the Participant's choice.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under Polish consumer law, a consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. However, the law provides an exception to this right for services related to leisure, entertainment, sporting, or cultural events, where the contract specifies a particular day or period of performance (Art. 38(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act) – Workshops held on a specific, set date may fall under this exception.

It's worth confirming this point with a lawyer before publishing these Terms, as the final classification depends on the exact way the service is sold and described within Planerto.

7. Complaints

Complaints about Workshops or the operation of the Service can be sent to: hello@wakeupmakeup.pl. The Organiser will handle the complaint within 14 days of receiving it.

8. Personal data

The rules for processing personal data of Participants and other Service users are described in a separate document: Privacy Policy.

9. Final provisions

• Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law, including the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
• The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms. Changes do not affect sign-ups made before they take effect.
• The current version of these Terms is always available at this address.
